Glad to see the Island I created being used for some great content!
I built this island while on the World of Warcraft team with the intent for some fun exploration and fast paced pvp action due to how small the zone is and a bit of verticality with the use of Kultiran mining structures throughout the area.

Building this presented a unique challenge, as at the time I was given zero budget for any new assets and had to build this from blockout to final polish. I reused textures, environment assets, and structures from previous expansions, mixing them in a new and interesting way to create more content for the players. I sculpted the terrain in my own style to make the map feel a bit different as well. And packed as many little POIs and storytelling moments with the use of props, as I could to give this map the maximum amount of detail possible. The major reference I used for this map was Disney's Thunder Mountain and mixed it with the back story of Kultirans mining for Azerite.

Really great to finally see all the content packed into this place!
